About The Old Oak

A classic corner pub facing Gospel Oak station, with a neighbourhood feel and sport on screen every day.

Sitting right across from Gospel Oak Overground station, The Old Oak is the neighbourhood's proper old pub, with a typical Victorian façade on Mansfield Road. It's now part of Craft Union Pubs, the community-pub brand of the Stonegate Group giant, but keeps the simple, welcoming character of a neighbourhood local. It's a regular meeting point for watching football, rugby, boxing and darts on the pub's screens, and runs charity activities for the local community. It's not chasing gastropub trends: it's the kind of place where Gospel Oak locals pop in for a pint after a walk on Hampstead Heath, a stone's throw from Parliament Hill.

On tap

Standard draught beers (the usual mass-market lagers, ales and stouts) plus a short spirits list.

Food

Simple, casual pub cooking, focused on affordable classics rather than fine dining.
