About The Old Red Cow
An independent free house built in 1854, directly across from Farringdon/Smithfield's Elizabeth line entrance, with a keenly kept cask and keg list.
Built in 1854 and independently run, the Old Red Cow sits directly opposite the Smithfield entrance to Farringdon station, making it a natural stop for market workers and commuters alike. It has featured in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide, with two rotating cask lines and thirteen keg taps. Regulars say a former landlord, Dick O'Shea, still haunts the place.
On tap
Two rotating cask ales and thirteen keg lines.
