One of London's longest-standing pub theatres: a roughly 50-seat fringe space upstairs, a classic corner bar below.
On the corner of St John Street, near Angel, there are records of a pub on this junction going back centuries. The current Victorian building has housed, since the seventies, a small fringe theatre of around 50 seats upstairs, which has served as a launchpad for playwrights and actors. Downstairs, the pub keeps the classic feel of a corner bar.
