About The People's Park Tavern

Built in 1865 as the Queen's Hotel, it ran a celebrated brewpub in the 1980s-90s and now brews again on-site in partnership with Brighton's North Laine Brewery.

Built in 1865 as the Queen’s Hotel to a grand Italian-palazzo design by architect Thomas Ennor, the building ran a celebrated brewpub, the Falcon and Firkin, from 1986 to 1998, before a string of renames — Victoria Park, then Britannia — eventually settled on the People’s Park Tavern. On-site brewing returned in 2013, in partnership with Brighton’s North Laine Brewery, visible now through a screen behind the bar.

On tap

House beers brewed on-site with North Laine, alongside a wider cask range.
