About The Queen's Head
An independent pub in a Grade II-listed building thought to date from about 1764, with a one-star national heritage interior and North London Pub of the Year in 2022.
A short walk from King's Cross, the Queen's Head stands in a Grade II-listed building thought to date from around 1764, later refaced and altered in the Victorian period. CAMRA gives its interior one star as a pub of special national historic interest: a green tiled dado and frieze, large Victorian mirrors, a Victorian back bar and a tiled fireplace. CAMRA's North London branch named it Pub of the Year in 2022. It is independently run, has a real fire and a rear smoking patio, and puts on live music on some dates.
On tap
Cask ale, up to three ciders and keg beers (Kernel among them), with a long whisky list.
Food
Light food at lunchtime and in the evening: bread, cheese, cured meats and pies.
