About The Rising Sun
A Grade II-listed inn on Marsh Lane dating to the sixteenth century, now run by the Delnevo brothers as an Italian and Asian-influenced restaurant-bar.
The Rising Sun has stood on Marsh Lane, at the edge of Highwood Hill, since the sixteenth century — one of Mill Hill’s oldest buildings and Grade II-listed since 1974. It’s run today by the Delnevo brothers as much as a restaurant as a pub, with an Italian and Asian-influenced menu, pizzas and a proper Sunday roast, but the building itself, low-beamed and centuries-settled, does most of the talking.
On tap
A wine-led list alongside a standard beer range.
Food
Pizzas, à la carte Italian and Asian-influenced dishes, and a Sunday roast.
