About Somers Town Coffee House
A multi-floor gastropub in the heart of Somers Town that bills itself as 'the genuine country pub in London', with its own cocktail cellar bar.
Despite sitting barely eight to ten minutes' walk from King's Cross, St Pancras and Euston, the pub deliberately cultivates the feel of an English village pub, with a multi-floor dining room, a courtyard and a cellar cocktail bar called The Cosy, thoroughly refurbished in 2019. It's part of Yummy Collection (Yummy Pubs), a small independent group of London gastropubs that runs several similar venues around the city, so it's not tied to any of the big national breweries. Its menu leans on seasonal British ingredients, fresh oysters and cuts like wagyu, more restaurant territory than the classic neighbourhood pub. It serves as the social anchor of Somers Town, one of the least tourist-visited neighbourhoods among north Camden's three big stations, and also offers cocktail classes and spaces for private events.
On tap
