About St George's Tavern
A large, traditional 1831 pub with glazed wooden screens and ornate chandeliers, drawing both Pimlico locals and Victoria-bound tourists.
Dating from 1831 and quite possibly the oldest pub still trading in Pimlico, St George's Tavern occupies a substantial corner site on Belgrave Road, its wooden bar counter and glazed screens dividing the space into distinct, cosy sections beneath three ornate chandeliers. Its size and position, midway between Victoria station and the river, have made it a natural stop for a mixed crowd of tourists, office workers and long-standing locals.
On tap
