About The Greyhound

An independent pub in Hendon's old village centre, a Victorian rebuild on a site with a pub since about 1676, with live music and a garden.

There has been a pub at Church End, the old village heart of Hendon, since about 1676, and the present Greyhound is a Victorian rebuild of the 1890s. It is run independently and is listed as an Asset of Community Value. It has a real fire, board games and a Monday quiz, with open-mic nights on Thursdays and jazz on Saturdays. There is a garden, and dogs and families are welcome.
