About The Holland

Formerly the Princess Victoria, this Kensington pub dating to 1830 now pairs a proper bar with an ambitious seasonal kitchen.

Trading under various names since 1830, this Kensington corner pub was reborn as The Holland with a kitchen led by Max de Nahlik, co-founder of the acclaimed pop-up Oxalis. The result sits neatly between the two poles of the modern gastropub: a relaxed front bar for a pint, and a dining room turning out polished seasonal dishes like wild seabass with n'duja butter. It has quickly become one of the more talked-about openings on the Kensington High Street side of the borough.
