About The Assembly House
A Victorian pub on Kentish Town Road with a spectacular interior of mirrors, dark wood and etched glass that has barely changed in over a century.
The Assembly House is, inside, one of north London's most spectacular pubs: a protected Victorian interior with bevelled mirrors, carved dark wood and etched glass that has survived almost untouched. Outside, its façade catches the eye of anyone walking down Kentish Town Road. It's part of the Greene King brewery, which offers a gastropub menu geared more towards lunches and dinners than a quick stop. It's as good a place for a drink as it is just to pop in and admire the décor.
On tap
Beers from the Greene King brewery and a standard gastropub wine and cocktail list.
Food
A gastropub menu of British classics, served in a dining room as well kept as the bar itself.
