About The Half Moon
A Grade II*-listed pub dated 1896, rated three stars by CAMRA for its intact interior, reopened by Fuller's in 2017 after the 2013 flood.
Dated 1896 on its gable, the Half Moon is a Grade II*-listed Jacobethan Revival building by the architect J. W. Brooker, and CAMRA rates its interior three stars, meaning outstanding national historic importance: wood panelling, back-painted mirrors, leaded and coloured glass and an intact public bar. For decades it was a live-music venue, and U2 played here in 1980. It was shut for years after a flood in 2013 and reopened in March 2017 after a refurbishment by Fuller's, with a garden and a function room. It stands on the Herne Hill edge of Dulwich, in the borough of Southwark.
On tap
Fuller's London Pride and Dark Star Hophead on cask, plus a changing Fuller's seasonal.
