About The Pig's Ear
A countryside-style Chelsea pub run by the Gladwin brothers, built around farm-to-fork produce from their own West Sussex farm and vineyard.
Formerly known as the Chelsea Pig and once linked to footballer Frank Lampard, this Old Church Street pub was taken over in 2024 by the Gladwin brothers of the Local & Wild restaurant group, who had fond memories of drinking here themselves. The result leans hard into their farm-to-fork ethos: livestock from their own West Sussex farm, wine from the family's Nutbourne vineyard, and a dining room decorated with vegetable-themed artwork by Bridget Gladwin. An oyster station and a Sunday-morning run club add to the community feel.
On tap
House wines from the Gladwins' own Nutbourne vineyard, alongside cask ale and cocktails.
