About The Queen Charlotte

A compact corner pub on Goodge Street, run since late 2025 by the team behind The Blue Maid in Borough and serving only beer from independent UK breweries.

The Queen Charlotte sits on the corner of Goodge Street and Charlotte Street in a building rebuilt in 1897, on a site its operators say has been licensed since 1767. It began as the Northumberland Arms, became a Draft House in 2012 and a BrewDog bar in 2018, and since October 2025 has been run by the team behind The Blue Maid in Borough, who took over the lease. Inside it is a small single bar with wooden floors and large windows, with heated pavement seating outside. There is no kitchen, dogs are welcome, and tap takeovers and charity events are a regular feature.

On tap

Around three changing cask ales and a longer, mostly keg, list, all from independent UK breweries.

Food

No kitchen: guests can bring in food from nearby cafés when buying drinks.
