Built in 1871 on a prominent Ladbroke Grove corner, The Eagle serves the residential streets of North Kensington well away from the tourist trade of Portobello Road. A recent refresh added a terrace garden and a snug lounge dubbed The Nest, but the pub's appeal has always rested on doing the simple things well: fresh craft beer, a welcoming atmosphere and reliably good Sunday roasts for a mostly local clientele.
