About The Macbeth
An independently owned Hoxton Street venue with a CAMRA-listed historic interior, better known for its gig and DJ nights than its beer list.
The Macbeth has been a fixture of Hoxton and Shoreditch’s live music circuit for years, trading out of a building CAMRA rates as of special national historic interest despite its rock-club reputation. It recently repositioned its food offer around Portuguese small plates, giving it an unusual split identity: gig venue by night, casual Portuguese-leaning kitchen the rest of the time.
