About The Victoria
An ornate, lovingly preserved Victorian interior named in honour of the young Queen Victoria, tucked into a quiet Bayswater side street.
The Victoria takes its name from the young queen it was built to honour, and its interior still carries the theatrical grandeur of that era — etched glass, dark wood, framed prints and memorabilia crowding every wall, some of it reputedly salvaged from a demolished London theatre. Tucked away on quiet Strathearn Place, just off Sussex Gardens near Paddington station, it feels far removed from the area's transient hotel trade despite sitting minutes from the concourse.
On tap
Fuller's cask ales, served in one of the area's most atmospheric historic rooms.
Food
Traditional pub food, matched to the room's determinedly old-fashioned character.
