About Trinity Arms
Built in 1850 and named after the nearby Trinity Asylum, a Young's pub overlooking Trinity Gardens, one of Brixton's few genuine village-green squares.
The Trinity Arms was built in 1850 and takes its name from the Trinity Asylum that once stood nearby on Acre Lane. It overlooks Trinity Gardens, a leafy residential square with the feel of a village green rarely found this close to central Brixton, and originally traded as three separate rooms before being opened into the single bar it is today. As a Young's house it keeps a reliably well-kept cask range, and its strong regulars' culture and quiet square setting make it feel like a world away from Brixton's busier commercial streets just a couple of minutes' walk away.
