About The Adam & Eve

A pub trading on this site since at least 1735, rebuilt in 1915 behind a striking purple-tiled facade with a large Adam-and-Eve relief sculpture.

The Adam & Eve has been a pub on this Homerton High Street site since at least 1735, though what stops people in their tracks today is the 1915 facade — purple glazed tiles under cream terracotta, topped with a large relief sculpture of Adam and Eve — a genuinely unusual frontage for an East London local. A pool table and darts board keep the traditional side going, while a rotating Korean-fried-chicken kitchen residency handles the food.

On tap

Five Points Railway Porter on cask, among others.

Food

A Korean fried chicken kitchen residency; live music and pool tournaments.
