About The Duke of Richmond
A 19th-century Queensbridge Road pub split over two floors — a casual bar downstairs, a French-leaning dining room upstairs — run by chef-restaurateur Tom Oldroyd.
Chef-restaurateur Tom Oldroyd, who trained at St. John and also runs Oldroyd in Islington, took the pub on in 2018 and split it into two distinct spaces: an easy-going bar at street level, and a separate French-inflected dining room upstairs designed by Meryl Fernandes. The building itself is 19th century, previously known as The Richmond under restaurateur Brett Redman.
On tap
Wine-led downstairs, with a proper cocktail list and a weekend happy hour.
Food
French-British seasonal cooking upstairs; a well-regarded Sunday roast.
