About The Punch Bowl
A Grade II listed Georgian pub on a quiet Mayfair street, with a wood-panelled bar downstairs and dining rooms above.
The Punch Bowl is one of Mayfair’s oldest pubs, a Grade II listed building from around 1750 with a mid-nineteenth-century pub front and an original dog-leg staircase. It made the headlines when Guy Ritchie and Madonna bought it in 2008; Ritchie kept it after their divorce and sold it in 2013. Today it is run by Butcombe, part of Liberation Group, and combines a wood-panelled ground-floor bar with a first-floor dining room, Judy’s, and a private room on the top floor called The Club. It was named Muddy Stilettos’ best destination pub in 2025.
On tap
Butcombe Original on cask, plus craft beer, wine, whisky and classic cocktails.
Food
