About The Three Compasses
A retro East End local, independently run since 2011, better known these days for its smash-burger residency than its darts board.
Independent operators took the Three Compasses on in December 2011 and built it into one of Dalston Lane’s reliable locals, styled around a retro East End boozer look rather than anything overly polished. It won Time Out’s Best Pub in Hackney (E8) title, helped along by a long-running Saturday residency from Lagom Burger & Buns, whose smash burgers have their own local following independent of the pub itself.
